How to increase uTorrent download speed?

My download speed is normally 500kb/s to 1.2mb/s. Right now I'm downloading a 16.5gb file and it's going 1kb/s to 100kb/s. It says I have like 1 week left to download and I don't want to wait a week for this file. What can I exactly do to make it go faster? I've watched a lot of videos on how to make it faster but none of them work quite right. I have currently 40 seeds and 8 peers. Please take your time in answering. Thank you!
