Dream about ex girlfriend.?

So for the past year and a half I have been dreaming about my ex girlfriend from 4 years ago. Even after we broke up we hooked up a lot. About 2 years ago she started seeing this other guy.(when I went to college) And ever since then I have been kicking myself because I didn't do more to keep her. I just thought she would always be around. And I used to text her a lot after she got this bf and ever since he found out about it, she said she isn't allowed to talk to me. I dk if she wants to or not. but either way, I feel like I lost that one girl. It sucks because I dream that I am with her and then I have to wake up and face the reality that she is still with this other tool. I dk what to do... I just want to get her out of my dreams. And I know that most people will say talk to her and settle things. But theres a problem, she wont talk to me unless we see each other face to face. Which is about once every 2 months. And every time I talk to her, I fall for her even more. So uh yea... any advice? lol
